Parentline Plus recently held discussion groups with parents to find out the truth about violence in and out of schools and, if they have experienced it, how they have dealt with it.
Parentline Plus have been working with parents to find out how they feel about communication with schools regarding bullying and violent behaviour. We’ve looked at how involved parents feel with their children’s schools, their opinions on bullying and how parents and teachers are trying to combat these problems.
Parentline Plus have been speaking to parents of 8-13 year olds about the effects of violent or aggressive behaviour on their children. One key issue that emerged from a number of parents we talked to was a lack of positive, non-violent role models for children
