i-parent modules
Our interactive activities contain information and support to help you and your teenager through the changes and
challenges of the teenage years.
We currently have six modules for you to choose from covering topics including keeping your teen safe, and dealing with anger. Each module takes around 40 minutes to complete.
If you don't have that much time to spare, why not try out mini modules which take only 10 minutes? They are a great taster to the full modules

teens.
Blogs
The place to share with other parents exactly what it is like parenting your teenager.
Think of a blog as your online diary where you can tell other members of the social network about your
experiences and they can respond with suggestions, advice or just a few friendly words.
We're always looking for parents – or anyone with a teen in their life – to blog about what life is really like, day to
day. If you'd like to share the ups and downs with other parents of teenagers, contact us for your own blog at
community@gotateenager.org.uk. All we'll need is your username and some information about
you and your family and then we’ll do the rest...

Jargon Buster
Sometimes it may seem as though you need a translator to understand what your teenager is talking about...
With a new slang word seemingly invented every week; many parents find it difficult to keep up with
the latest phrases and sayings. This is why we've come up with a teen-speak jargon buster. Put together
by teenagers and parents, this dictionary of 'teenglish' (complete with definitions) should help break
down the language barrier.
